The Vision

Set atop a hillside with sweeping west-facing views, this home offered the perfect canvas for an outdoor space designed around one key feature: the sunset. The homeowners envisioned a multi-use landscape where they could relax, entertain, and continue their love of gardening - all while taking in the evening light.

Our Approach

We worked closely with the homeowners to design a natural, elegant landscape that connects every element of the yard - from hot tub and patio to fire features and gardens - while preserving the view and maximizing comfort.

Key elements include:

Paver patio with hot tub - A spacious patio was built directly outside the home with clean-lined pavers and a built-in hot tub zone — private, calming, and perfect for sunset soaking.
Flagstone walkways & fireplace area - Natural stone paths guide you from the patio to a tucked-away fireplace area. It’s an ideal spot for late-night gatherings and starry conversations.
Surrounding gardens & planting design - The plant palette was selected for texture, seasonal interest, and low maintenance — adding layers of softness and colour that complement the surrounding environment without obstructing the view.
